Hi i’m Avy-Rue and I am a dancer from Brighton and train at Brooks Dance Academy mainly in contemporary and commercial styles. I work in contemporary choreography and have recently been choreographing my own dances.

Hi, I’m Lexie Collins, I’m 17 and I train at Brooks dance academy in Lancing in ballet, contemporary, lyrical and ballet, commercial and jazz. I also train at the Place in london on the cat scheme. I’m really looking forward to being a dance idol and performing at the finals.

I’m Hannah and I train with Brooks Dance Academy, in contemporary, ballet, jazz, lyrical and commercial. I go up to London every Saturday and train on the CAT programme at The Place. I am looking forward to hopefully going on to dance college after my A levels with a view to pursueing a career in dance. I am delighted to have been chosen to be a dance idol at the National final and will look forward to performing with everyone. Thanks for nominating me!

I’m Lily Duggan from Shoreham by Sea, near Brighton. I’ve been training g with brooks Dance Academy since I was 3 years old! I train in ballet, modern jazz, contemporary, street, and acro. I love dancing and we are all such good friends. Competitions are always so much fun because we’re all in it together. Destination Dance is my favourite competition and I’m so proud to be chosen as a Destination Dance Idol. I’m really looking forward to the National Finals!

Hi, I’m Evie. I’m 14 and have trained at Brooks Dance Academy for the last 10 years. I compete in all styles but my favourites are jazz and contemporary. My biggest recent dance highlight was competing at the Dance World Cup in Portugal – our ballet group came 5th in the world! I can’t wait to meet all the other Dance Idols at the Finals in May. Dancing is my happy place! I started at MV Academy when I was five. I love competitions as I get to cheer on all my dance friends and there is a really fun vibe. Hi, I am Marta. I dance at Spirit Young Dance Company and in the Royal Academy of Dance. I have been training in dance since I was 6 years old, but mainly in ballet. I am originally from Spain, and when I moved I started exploring new styles which have made me discover my favorite ones including contemporary and jazz. Dance is my ultimate passion and I hope to pursue it professionally some day.

I train at flipside dance school 5 days a week , specialising in ballet, musical theatre, contemporary, jazz and acro. Acro being one of my favourites as I trained 16 hours a week as a gymnast for three years, before I started dancing, I love to dance because it makes me feel calm and happy and love, dancing with people I love.

I am 16 from Epping and I go to Sylvia Young Theatre School. I have trained at Spirit YDC since I was 9 years old and I also train with HIPA studios. Dancing is my passion and I do it everyday. I also love performing and have been in West End, and toured with shows since I was 7! I also voiced Kathy Cratchit in Netflix musical movie animation ‘Scrooge; a Christmas Carol’. Hi, I’m Annie and I’m so excited to be selected as a dance idol this year. I train at MTPAS in a range of styles but I especially love Tap. I’ve competed at the IDO tap dance world championships since 2016 with Tap Attack and have won many titles both as a team and individually. Recently, I have been choreographing some dances and am so proud of what they have achieved. I can’t wait to perform at the Destination Dance Finals and am so grateful for this opportunity.

My name is Ella Robertson, I am 14 years old and have danced since I was very young. My love and passion for dance and Musical Theatre grows every year and I couldn’t imagine life without it. I train with the amazing Allstars Academy which has opened many doors I never thought possible, from winning gold at the Dance World Cup Finals in Portugal last year to landing a role in a Disney feature film. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity to train and perform in all areas of dance and Musical Theatre and I am so excited about the possibility of turning my passion into a career within the industry. 

Hello! I’m Amelie Ward Almazan and I’m all about spreading joy through dance! At 11, I’m a mix of British and Mexican cultures, bringing a unique flair to everything I do. I started learning ballet at 2, and I’ve been living and breathing it ever since. I am part of the MV Academy family where I practice contemporary, lyrical, acro, and, of course, ballet. When I’m not perfecting my pliés, I’m diving into the latest fashion trends or cuddling up with my furry pal Luna. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be selected Destination Dance Idol! My name is Darcey, I’m 11 years old and I live in Shoreham with my Mum, Dad, brother and 2 dogs Dash and Coco. I started dancing when I was 2 years old! I went to a class called Ballet Bunnies and I loved it! I still do ballet now. As well as ballet I also do jazz, contemporary, acro, PBT and tap. In fact I do about 11 hours of dance a week! Hi, my name is Tia and I’m 14 years old. I have been dancing with the Ellise Locke Dance Company and my amazing dance teachers for the last 5 years. At ELDC I train in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial and Acro. I absolute love being on stage, especially when performing as a group with my ELDC teammates. My dance highlight has been representing England at the Dance World Cup with ELDC in 2022 and 2023 and I’m looking forward to doing this again this year in Prague with my dance family. In 2023 I represented Team England at the Dance World Cup and won a Gold Medal and four Silver Medals and I’m looking forward to go back again this year, in Prague. I am so excited and honoured to be selected to be a Dance Idol again and I can’t wait to share the stage with so many other amazing dancers and perform together.

Hi, I’m Isabella but most people call me Izzy. I’m 13 years old and I started dancing at the age of 9. Before I found my passion for dance I was part of British Gymnastics for 5 years. I go to Grazia Academy of Dance and Acrobatics. My favourite styles are Acro and Jazz, but I also train in Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical and more recently, Tap. My ambition is to have a career in dance and I hope I get to travel the world, doing something I absolutely love. I feel extremely proud to have been selected as a Dance Idol and I cannot wait to perform with such talented dancers.

Hi everyone, I’m Amelia, 10 years old, a competitive dancer with TLDC Elite Team (Tee Lily Dance Company). I study ballet, tap, freestyle, cheerleading, street dance and musical theatre at The School For Stars in Banbury. I also take singing lessons. My dancing highlights are getting a gold and 2 silver medals representing England at the DWC Finals in 2023. Winning Miss Junior Title Destination Dance and Miss Junior Title Hotshots. Appearing in The Nutcracker with the English Youth Ballet and Bring it On the Musical. I have also been in a professional role in Nativity the Musical at The Birmingham Rep. I have been training with GMK Dance Company since I was 2years old, I also train weekly in London with Ryan Jenkins as a member of ID Dance Company and also in Birmingham as a Mid Associate with the Royal Ballet School. I am very lucky to be training across many different styles – in Ballet, Lyrical , Contemporary, Jazz, Show-dance, Commercial, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro & Tumble. My dream and ultimate goal is to train in New York and to perform on Broadway. It’s hard to choose a favourite style but I do absolutely love to dance Fosse Jazz. I also attend LeAF Studio School and am a Sam Stanley Creative Associate. I have been lucky enough to attend the Dance World Cup finals in 2022 and 2023 with Steppin’ Out and this year I will be dancing a commercial duet and commercial group dance. Hi, my name is Eliska, and I’m from Canterbury, Kent, where I live with my brother, Mum & Dad. My Mum is originally from the Czech Republic- so I’m very much so British & Czech. I love dancing, singing & acting! I train at my local dance school – PPA, where I spend most of my free time. I have also been very lucky to be cast as the main character in some local musical productions. I love performing – I feel alive on the stage!

My name is Lois, I am 11 years old and I dance with Sarah Royle School of Dance in Warrington, Cheshire. I have been with Miss Sarah since I was 3 years old. I train in all genres but my favourites are ballet and commercial. I love training with the elite team at SRSD and have made many great friends there. I think dance makes me strong physically and mentally. It also teaches us resilience and perseverance and I think I am a better person for it. Last year, I was awarded “Most professional potential” at the Janet Cram Finals in London. My name is Mairwen. I’m 16 years old, and I live in South Wales. Welsh is my first language, but I count in for dance in English! I started gymnastics when I was 3 and moved over to rhythmic gymnastics when I was 7, but I didn’t start dance training formally until I was 12 when I started taking ballet classes. I have been a Ballet Cymru Associate since 2021. I still compete in rhythmic gymnastics and am now coaching as well. I moved from my ballet school to dance with Francesca Jandrell Dance Company in 2023. I love dancing with FJDC because I now get to do not just ballet (which is still my absolute favourite style) but also jazz, contemporary and lyrical. I’ve worked with Fran, my teacher, to choreograph my solos, as I want to do choreography for a career. I’m looking forward to working with the other Dance Idols, and I am honoured to have been chosen!
